What We Do
We take pride and are honored to be able to participate in helping the community in any way we can. We have performed at Nursing homes which have put smiles on Senior Citizens faces. We plan to reach out more to put smiles on lots of faces! We have donated to youths between ages 3-9 through Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan Purse and Adopt a Family through Salvation Army. Knowing youths from struggling families have gifts to open on Christmas morning brings tears of joy to ICAT!
Teamwork, good sportsmanship, discipline, desire, leadership, time management, honesty, loyalty, courage, life values, and respect for authority so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. Because this program requires you to spend a lot of time together and to rely on each other, it also places a great emphasis on friendship, trust and fun.
Cheerleading is a sport that requires strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, gracefulness and much more. Children are movement explorers who climb, swing, jump and tumble as they become physically confident. At Inversion Cheer Athletics Toledo aka ICAT, we strive to “fall-proof” children so they learn to jump and land correctly. We “armor” each child with body awareness and improve self-esteem while creating success opportunities. Most importantly, our ICAT’s learn respect for their capabilities and how to work safely and cooperatively in the gym.
Our objective is to implant firmly in the children of the community the skills of cheerleading athleticism on an All Star level so they may have experience to be a College cheerleader, if desired.
